The OSScamp Pantnagar community announces its maiden unconference in the lushgreen town of Pantnagar. Born at OSScamp Delhi September 2008, OSScamp Pantnagar February 2008 will take place on January 31st and February 1st 2009 at the College of Technology, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

OSScamp is a series of community-driven unconferences with a specific aim to promote FOSS implementation and development in India.
Unconferences are people-centric, participant-driven conferences without the inherent rigidity and formalities. With the first camp held in 2007, OSScamps have come a long way as India's largest unconference on open source; with an endeavor to gather and collaborate on open source technologies and tools, they are the premier FOSS unconference in the country.
