Viramamunivar’s play Kuthirai Muttai (Horse Egg) revolves around  certain incidents that occur in the life of Paramartha Guru, a man who lives all alone in an inn, and is desirous of having followers of his own. When he manages to find some young men who he believes have the qualities he would like his followers to have, he decides to take them on a journey and teach them along the way.
