A much acclaimed and renowned writer, Shubhankar, dictates his autobiography to Pragya, a research student. And while doing so, as he looks back at his life, all his past mistakes, his lies and his compromises come back to haunt him. His interactions with the young student help him to rediscover the truth about his relationships with the two most important people in his life - his estranged wife Uttara and her sister Vasanti.
