OSSCamp at Pantnagar

The Open Source User Group (OSUG) at the Department of Computer Engineering, College of Technology, G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (http://www.gbpuat-tech.ac.in) has been organising numerous events supporting the spirit of Open Source and Free Software in the past and this May the OSUG is organising OSScamp Pantnagar for the second time. The dates scheduled for the camp are the 1st and 2nd of May 2010. It is a platform where geeks, professionals, students and other open source enthusiast come together to celebrate the spirit of Open Source. The camps are organised on an unconference (Bar Camp) model, that is, the campers do not believe in the formalities of having formal speakers, long boring lectures, sessions, talks....... All they believe in is knowledge sharing. In an unconference, there is no audience, everybody is a participant and has got something or the other to say on the topic being discussed. The last camp at Pantnagar was organised on January 31 – February 1, 2009 and was attended by more than 300 geeks! You can register using the following link - http://ow.ly/1A5vS
